  I'm not a great fan of the GPA, not my favorite people. There rude and arrogant. Most of the drivers have respect for the people at the race and for that I respect them. Hence why I have rated it as 3. Fans are great too they're there for a beer a feed and the F1s and all the other vehicles racing.

  This was a great experience! You are able to get up close to the track during the race. After bthe race you are able to walk the track no matter what ticket you got. We only had general admission tickets but got to see the award ceremony up close! We actually got free tickets to this event. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, even if you are not a fan of F1!

  Great track and atmosphere. Everyone was well mannered and friendly. Alcohol was a bit pricey at 11.50 for Captain Morgan and 9.50 for a Heineken 330ml can. Food form the burger place we ate one the back straight was ordinary. But he we had some donuts

  A great Melbourne event!
  
  It's a great event, great atmosphere and makes for a great weekend with lots to see and do. Besides the racing, there's lots of car related attractions such as the classic cars on display, and entertainment including the Roulette flyovers.
  
  Regarding the racing, you just have to be in a stand to get the best out of this event and not just for viewing! Expensive yes but I just wouldn't do it any other way. You also must dress appropriately and what I mean by this is that if it's a hot day then dress lightly, shorts are good, have a cap or hat, have your sunnies and sunscreen, and at a minimum, quality ear plugs, boy those cars are noisy. Believe me even if you've not got the right clothes on, if on a hot day you're not in the shade then you'll roast.
  
  As you'll see from my photos here, we had great seats, in a top, back row in the Schumacher Stand, so we were in the shade for most of the day but when the sun hit the west, around 4pm, I lasted only another hour or so and just had to get out of the stand and hit the shade at the back of the stand. We could see many suffering in the unshaded rows below me and in the Prost and Senna Stands on my left. Of course those in the corporate boxes directly in front of us were fine, the lucky buggers.
  
  We found the food and drink, including soft drinks, coffee and beer, all on the pricey side; it's a captive audience. The food well you'll eat it cos your hungry, the coffee is bad, but the beer is good. There's also lots of souvenir stands.
  
  There's a lot of work that goes into putting this event together, but what a show! Overall it is expensive but a fantastic experience. It's a great event for Albert Park, great for Melbourne and great for Australia.

  Albert park, gate 10 of the Grand Prix. As much as I don't like the organizers of the Grand Prix. I do respect the up and coming drivers, V8 super car and formula 1 drivers. I treat them with the same respect that they treat me. I class them as strong athletes, they must be, taking to the track at the speed they do, they would have to be fit.
